ummmm....sorry if im wrong but i fink u shud work on ur arm strength and also...first try doing backward walkovers....itl b much easier 2 do the back handspring!! i should kno...it workd 4 me!!!

go on a thick mat first, the reason ur twistin is coz ur afraid of gettin hurt. try to find a big high-jump mat and practice on it first

its good that you're crouching, but you're crouching too much... looks like your legs are in a less than 90 degrees angle.
also focus on trying to jump back, and not twist your body.. you twist your body cuz you're afraid of getting hurt

well 1st dont do em on a bed do em on grass or sumin else but ur goin straghit back thats good.... but make sure u put ur hands down cuz u put them down then u just give up keep em plannted!! good luck

You need to start from standing, your crouching down before your jump.
